Challenge Yourself Since its establishment in 1999, the Elizabethtown College Honors Program has aimed to provide students who have excelled both in wonk and extracurricular activities with enhanced learning opportunities. Those selected to participate in the program are encouraged to maintain upper standards of scholarship, leadership, and service worthy of their intellectual promise and demonstrate initiative throughout their enrollment at the College. The Honors Program, founded and supported with an endowment souvenir from the Hershey Company, is a member of the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC). Student membership of the Honors Program averages approximately 150 students per year wideness all four classes.
